I found out I'm pregnant on my birthday 1/22/2018. It was a mixed feeling of surprises and feeling lucky. The pregnancy was uneventful. The hardest part was the morning sickness during the first trimester. I discovered morning sickness was a misnomer as I was feeling nausea all the time for more than 6 weeks, well into the middle of the second trimester. Due to my supposedly advanced maternal age, OB did a whole bunch of tests, including DNA test etc. Every single result on every test came back normal. And we go in for ultrasound every couple weeks. He was active on the ultrasound. In the last trimester, he moves a lot in my belly, seems to be reminding me that he is there, I need to pay attention to him. This is always entertaining. Initially, J was shocked and quite a bit worried about the perspective of a baby coming. It seems to him that life as how we know it is gone, and he's not ready.
